In
this section, you will find 7 ethical dilemmas developed by the different
countries represented in the project partnership (Austria, Estonia,
Hungary, Italy, Portugal and The Netherlands).
The 7 ethical dilemmas were developed to be included in the CSR Training
Toolkit as practical training activities to be used in the training module
“Business Ethics”. They can be used in other modules, according to
trainer’s decisions and in others training situations different from the
CSR Training Toolkit standard programme.
Some of the ethical dilemmas were inspired by a true story but the
majority are fictitious but possible situations inspired by real life
cases.
The ethical dilemmas were designed not to show “accurate” or
“inaccurate” situations but to help training participants to think
about the consequences of their decisions for all of the stakeholders
involved especially in difficult situation where they have to sacrifice
something or someone. There are no “correct answers” and different
persons, different Cultures, different countries will solve the dilemmas
differently. “Moral” approach should be avoided.
Each ethical dilemma has a title, a subject and an area, according to the
following table.
